Free VPN for Android — Zend2 VPN

Zend2 VPN is a real Android VPN app with a Free tier. Connect using WireGuard with Automatic location selection, or explore the named-location options available to Zend2 Plus members.

Free uses an Automatic exit, not your choice of country. Plus location options depend on availability. Google Play lists in-app purchases.

Available on Google Play. iOS is not available yet.

Is Zend2 VPN free for Android?

Yes. Zend2 VPN has a Free Android tier that selects an available VPN exit automatically. It uses WireGuard and is separate from Zend2 Private Browser. Free does not promise a selectable country; Zend2 Plus can request a named location when an Edge is available. Check Google Play for current availability and any in-app purchases. https://zend2.com/legal/vpn/terms/2026-09-09

What Zend2 VPN does

An encrypted tunnel to a Zend2 VPN Edge.

Zend2 VPN is a separate Android app from Zend2 Private Browser. It uses Android's VPN service and WireGuard to establish an encrypted tunnel between your Android device and a Zend2 VPN Edge. Its documented default routing covers IPv4 traffic while the VPN is connected. It is a device VPN app, but that is not a promise that every app or every type of traffic is always captured.

We do not currently claim complete anonymity, zero data collection, a verified no-logs service, guaranteed IPv6 leak protection, or uninterrupted reconnection. The published policy describes the service's actual limits.

Free and Plus

Free and Plus: what changes?

Free Zend2 Plus
Connection option Automatic location, selected from available VPN exits Can request a named location where Zend2 currently offers a corresponding VPN Edge
Specific country guaranteed No No; locations may change and an Edge may be unavailable
VPN type Zend2 Android VPN using WireGuard Same Android VPN, with Plus entitlement on the Zend2 account
Price Check Google Play / the app Check current Google Play subscription terms

Free is a real service tier, not a promise of unlimited locations, permanent exit availability, or unlimited performance. Plus is an account-level entitlement: the VPN and Zend2 Private Browser do not have separate Plus plans. Uninstalling the app or deleting a Zend2 account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be managed in Google Play.

Free and Plus are described in the Zend2 VPN Terms of Service (version 2026-09-09). Data handling is described in the VPN Privacy Policy (version 2026-09-09).

Data

What information does Zend2 VPN store?

Zend2's account and session control plane, called Borsa, processes information needed to run VPN sessions. The VPN Privacy Policy describes data that can include account and device identifiers, the WireGuard public key, an assigned tunnel address, the public source IP when a new session record is created, session times and statuses, error codes, selected location, and byte totals.

The policy says Borsa does not store browsing history, visited URLs, destination IPs, DNS query names, packet contents, or your WireGuard private key. This statement is specifically about Borsa. VPN Edge infrastructure, hosting systems and third-party DNS resolvers process network information necessary to provide the service and are not covered by a blanket “no logs” claim.

Control-plane session data has no fixed deletion clock while an account remains active. Account deletion removes specified VPN session records, but it does not necessarily erase hosting or application-error logs. Read the full VPN Privacy Policy for the current details.

Check it yourself

What can you verify yourself?

If you use Zend2 VPN, a browser can show the IP address a website sees. The same browser session can also be examined for which DNS resolvers it uses and whether IPv6 connectivity is exposed. Those checks describe the current browser. They do not prove that every Android app is routed through the VPN, that the tunnel survives every network change, or that a VPN operator keeps no logs.

The DNS and IPv6 checks on this site are temporarily unable to provide reliable results. A failed or empty result on those checks is not evidence that the connection is protected.

Separate products

Zend2 VPN, Private Browser and VPN Finder are different

  • Zend2 VPN: an Android VPN app using Android VpnService and WireGuard.
  • Zend2 Private Browser: a separate app protecting connections made inside that browser; it does not promise protection for other apps.
  • VPN Finder: the site's comparison tool for third-party VPN services. Finder recommendations and affiliate referrals are not Zend2 VPN product features.

Before you install.

Zend2 VPN is available on Android through Google Play. iOS is not available yet. Check the app's current listing for availability, subscription prices, and system requirements. If your main requirement is a tested kill switch, proven seamless Wi-Fi/cellular reconnection, guaranteed IPv6 coverage, or independent no-logs certification, do not treat those as established Zend2 capabilities until the corresponding evidence is published.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is Zend2 VPN free on Android?

Yes, the public terms describe a Free tier using Automatic location. A particular exit country or uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Named location selection, where offered, requires Zend2 Plus.

Does Zend2 VPN keep logs?

Zend2 does not advertise a verified no-logs VPN. Its published policy describes account and session metadata, including a source IP at creation of a new session record and operational byte totals. It also identifies data the Borsa control plane does not store. Review the full policy for distinctions and retention.

Does Zend2 VPN protect every Android app and prevent IPv6 leaks?

The policy documents an IPv4 full-tunnel configuration while connected. It does not guarantee that every app is always captured or that IPv6 cannot leak. Verify your configuration and current results rather than assuming complete coverage.

What is the difference between Zend2 VPN and Zend2 Private Browser?

Zend2 VPN is the separate Android VPN app. The browser app protects browsing connections inside that browser; it is not a device-wide VPN replacement.

How do Free and Plus differ?

Free uses Automatic exit selection. Plus can request one of the named locations currently offered when an Edge exists. Available locations and current subscription prices should be checked in the app or Google Play.

Does deleting the app cancel Plus?

No. Manage renewal or cancellation through Google Play. Account deletion also does not automatically cancel Google Play billing.
